Front features a portrait of a bearded man within an ornate oval frame, flanked by classical Ionic columns; red overprint 'ΤΡΑΠΕΖΑ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ' applied across the top. Back depicts the famous Lion Gate of Mycenae (Πύλη Λεόντων Μυκηνών) between two columns. Printed by the American Bank Note Company. Serial number 996714, prefix ΛΕ041. Condition appears Very Fine, with red revalidation/overprint stamps and light handling wear, small foxing spots noted on borders.
