eBayers with less than 5 feedback in the last six months please contact me prior to bidding or bids may be cancelled. This is due to the vast majority of non-payers having low feedback numbers or no recent feedback.

Buyers who abuse order cancellations will be blocked - there's no way the same buyer repeatedly 'enters wrong amount'. 

Any questions about condition should be asked before the auction ends as a winning bid is a commitment to buy.

DESCRIPTION:

Any props in the photos (eg Sea Pony shell stands and Fairy Tails perches) are NOT INCLUDED unless specifically stated in the title and/or main description below. 

The toys I have listed are all vintage and therefore in used condition. I acquired them all second hand so it can be assumed they have been played with at some point. They have been cleaned with antibacterial soap, on the outside, not inside, unless otherwise stated. Hair has been washed and conditioned. Hair won't be as nicely styled when it arrives with you as it is in the photos due to being thoroughly inspected for the listing description and being sent through the post. Ponies with curls are set with water only so curls will drop to some degree, sometimes dropping out completely, and of course they will be affected by being wrapped up and sent through the post.

I can't list every tiny flaw, especially when the photos show all angles - please inspect all photos thoroughly, including zooming in, and use them in conjunction with the description to get a full view of the condition. All the toys listed have flaws including, for example, quality control issues and manufacturing flaws (eg, factory glue on neck seams, flaws in the plastic from the manufacturing process, manes and tails that were made with uneven lengths, paint imperfections and other quality control issues) as well as flaws that occurred after manufacture through age, use and play (eg, marks, paint rubs and other flaws that occur through age, use and play). 

That said I will mention anything I think is notable here:

This is a small hobby business that I run out of my home, which is smoke free. For those with allergies, please note I have cats. Every effort is made to ensure this doesn't affect your item. Items have been carefully stored in an area where cats are not allowed. 

I have other toys listed and will happily combine postage for auctions that end on the same day. I will send a combined postage invoice once all the auctions end. If you would like the invoice sending sooner please ask. Postage costs (including combined postage invoices) are based on parcel size, weight and total order value.

I can only combine postage for orders from the same account - I cannot combine orders for multiple buyers/multiple eBay accounts. If you buy using more than one eBay account I cannot combine these orders. If you and another buyer wish to combine postage the purchases need to be made from ONE account. I have to upload tracking numbers to meet my selling obligations and it is not physically possible to enter the same tracking number on more than one account. 

International buyers: I set my own postage costs rather than using the Global Shipping Programme so I can offer combined postage and keep costs as low as possible. I have no control over customs and import duties which are the buyer's responsibility to pay. I do not under-declare customs values or mark items as a gift as it is a criminal offence to do so and against eBay policy to ask. 

EU Buyers: I'm sorry to say that, from August 2026, I will no longer be able to send parcels directly to EU countries due to new packaging regulations. This is not a decision I wanted to make but the registration fees needed to keep offering EU shipping are much higher than the sales I currently make to EU customers, and as a small hobby business, this means direct EU shipping is no longer financially viable. I'm happy to recommend reliable UK-based parcel forwarding services for EU buyers. These companies can receive your parcel from me in the UK and then forward it on to you. I'm very grateful for every EU customer who has supported my little business. Sadly, I will need to stop direct EU sales at the end of July 2026.

US Buyers: I have had to state a higher postage cost to prevent payment being made before I send an invoice including duties. Please await your invoice before making payment as postage will need to be amended before checkout. The actual postage cost for one item is £17.05 to 20.55 depending on value (auction end price) plus duties (below). The duties are a percentage of the item sale price plus a Royal Mail service charge. I will also be adding a percentage to cover the fees charged by eBay on these duties (eBay charges fees on everything, not just the item cost), otherwise it wouldn't be cost-effective to ship to the US. Below are examples of how much the extra charge would be, to give buyers an idea of what to expect. Exact charges will be invoiced before payment is made for the order. By bidding you are agreeing to duties being added to your invoice. This may be subject to change. In the event over overpayment I will refund the difference. 

I will send within three working days of receiving payment, usually much sooner. I only use Royal Mail to send parcels as they're the courier with the cheapest price for collection from my home which is necessary for me for health reasons. I use recycled packaging but never compromise on protecting items while in transit. Small, thin, non-fragile items are sent in bubble envelopes and everything else is sent in a weather-protected box with plenty of padding. 

I prefer to 'say what I see' in my listings rather than say an item is in 'good condition' (for example) because my idea of 'good condition' may differ from yours. I aim for complete transparency in my listings; what you see is what you get and I aim to show you any flaws in the item. If you feel I haven't done so (I'm only human after all) then please contact me prior to leaving feedback or opening a dispute with eBay as I'm more than happy and willing to work with you to resolve any problems and your satisfaction with the item is genuinely very important to me.

And now for the bit I wish I didn't need to include:

To all of my wonderful regular buyers and the lovely, genuine buyers I haven't met yet, this does not apply to you ❤️ I apologise to you that I have to add this to my listings - I really don't want to have this here but the selfish and entitled few have made it necessary. I removed it for a while and problems started again so here it is.

I DO NOT HOLD ORDERS UNTIL NEXT WEEK'S AUCTIONS END - PLEASE DO NOT ASK. I will get a defect on my account if I do not send within time limits and have had too many problems related to this. I understand it is common in toy collecting to have someone in another country to whom items are sent and then shipped on together to save on postage. THAT IS NOT WHAT THIS IS! This is an eBay shop not a 'shipping buddy' situation. Nowhere else online can you buy something then wait a week to pay. I can't comprehend how often I am asked to do this as an eBay seller and I also can't comprehend people still asking for this when it is stated in all of my listings that I don't do this. Saying I don't do this should be enough but apparently not so here's why: I rely on the income from sales to buy more stock; if I'm not paid on time, I can't buy more stock. I run this hobby business from my home and have limited storage; storing umpteen boxes for people is not an option. I have auctions ending every week so how long will this 'hold my order so I can bid on more things' situation go on for, several weeks until someone thinks they can justify the postage cost? I have done this for people in the past only to have them not even bid on anything else, not pay or cancel the order. I am tired of people taking advantage of my good nature and putting me in the position of saying 'no' once a buyer has me over a barrel because they've now won my auctions. Also, it is against eBay policy to ask a seller to hold items to pay at a later date. Anyone asking for this in future will be replied to with a screenshot of this, the order will be cancelled and they will be blocked from bidding on future auctions. I trust this sufficiently explains why I don't do this. PLEASE DO NOT ASK! 

This is a hobby for me; I buy ponies in lots, keep what I need and sell on the rest - I don't make a profit, it just works out that the ponies I keep cost significantly less than they would have and makes collecting affordable. I start auctions at low prices and let buyers set the price by bidding so collecting can be affordable for others too. I offer international shipping even though there is no benefit for me - I am charged more in eBay fees for international orders but I want to help make pony collecting available to as many people as possible. A hobby is supposed to be enjoyable and with the above in mind, I WILL NOT tolerate abusive, bullying buyers! I would rather sell for less and deal with nice people. Pushy, demanding, rude buyers who ask for their orders to be held or ask me to under-declare customs values will have their orders cancelled and they will be blocked. I do not bend to people like this just because they have won my auctions. I will not be discourteous to anyone but I will not work with anyone who makes my experience an unpleasant one, especially given that I do what I can to make my buyers' experiences great. 

Unjust 'item not as described' cases will be fought - I will not be bullied into refunding someone who is trying to get something for nothing so scammers should look elsewhere, or better still, don't do it at all!
