Boards are sound with just some minor marks and sunning. Gilt leaf page edges all round. There is an inscription on the reverse of the first leaf.

The book contains 8 b&w plates. All are fully attached and clean. There are also many illustrations within the text.

There is quite a lot of foxing in the book.

This is a lovely old book that would grace any library or bookshelf.
