Edo Kiriko is a traditional craft certified by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and designated as a national traditional craft of Japan. This "Hokkori" rock glass in indigo, crafted by artisan Junichi Komata, features the traditional pattern "Goseika to Kikutsunagi-monyo".
Unlike typical cut glass, this "Hokkori" glass can be used for warm beverages as well as cold drinks. It is versatile throughout the year for hot whiskey, shochu with hot water, hot tea, and more.
Box Type: Delivered in either a paper box or a paulownia wooden box depending on production timing (box type cannot be selected).
Precautions:
Not compatible with microwave ovens, ovens, direct heat, or dishwashers.
Do not use for heating purposes.
May break due to sudden temperature changes.
