Type 1 flat on the sides / smooth finish / some has AC controls and some do not / early models.
Type 2 Round on the sides for vents / smooth finish / some have AC controls and some do not / early and mid models.
Type 3 Rounder on the sides for larger vents / semi deep grain finish / most has Ac controls but some do not ( 1968-1969).
Type 4 Rounder on the sides for larger vents / deep grain finish / most has AC controls but some do not Late models (1970- to 1973 ).
