A lovely ceramic, vintage, dark brown, Beswick Donkey Foal, Model No. 2110, modelled by Graham Tongue.
This attractive little donkey is beautifully modelled in Beswick's characteristic naturalistic style, finished in a glossy brown colour with subtle variations in shading, lighter colouring to the legs and underside, and finely painted facial details.
The figure was introduced in 1968 and remained in production for many years, becoming one of Beswick's popular farm and animal figures. The piece will make a lovely addition to any collection of Beswick or horse related pieces.
