This perfectly preserved diploma was sent from the Vatican. Indeed, the cartridge which was used for sending is sold in the lot, we can read the address of the recipient, the sender, we also find two canceled stamps.
It was published in 1932.
On the back of the diploma, we can read the rules of the archconfraternity.
The brotherhood of Saint Joseph, founded on October 15, 1889, was constituted as an archconfraternity on July 1, 1897, under the title of Saint Joseph Patron and Protector of the Universal Church, on a Pontifical Brief and inaugurated with great celebration on August 12, 1897.
