Antique Primitive Folk Art Carved Wooden Cookie Press / Cookie Stamp

Unusual and beautifully carved long wooden cookie press or dough stamp with a distinctive figural handle and hand-carved floral decoration.

The front features a lovely stylized five-petal flower with a flowing vine and leaf design, while the upper portion has decorative stepped edges and a shaped wooden handle. The carving has a wonderful primitive, handmade quality and a warm aged finish.

Measuring approximately 8½” long x 2¾” wide, this is a substantial and highly decorative example of an old wooden kitchen tool.

Would make a great addition to a collection of primitive kitchenware, antique wooden utensils, cookie molds, dough stamps, treenware or folk-art objects, or simply a unique piece of rustic kitchen décor.
