Offered is a very nice vintage Monolux No. 6115 microscope, marked 100X–1200X / High Quality Microscope, made in Japan.
What makes this example especially interesting is the large assortment of accessories and supplies that have remained with the microscope, all housed in its original fitted wooden carrying/storage case.
This is a wonderful set for a collector of vintage scientific instruments, microscopy equipment, Japanese optics, laboratory memorabilia, or anyone interested in vintage educational/scientific equipment.

TESTED
The microscope has been tested and is functional. The focusing mechanisms and objective turret operate, and the microscope produces a view through the optics.
This is a vintage instrument, however, and should not be expected to perform like a modern laboratory microscope. There may be dust, minor optical imperfections and other age-related characteristics consistent with a decades-old instrument.
CONDITION
Overall, this is a very nice vintage example with an unusually substantial accessory collection.
The microscope shows normal age-related cosmetic wear, including minor scratches, scuffs and finish wear. The chrome has some light surface wear consistent with age and use.
The wooden case has more noticeable cosmetic wear, including scratches, scuffs, finish wear, marks and areas of age-related wear. Please see all photographs.
The case hardware, hinges, handle and original key are present.
The vintage paper materials show discoloration, staining, creasing and age-related wear. The Lapine lens paper packet and filter paper are included as found and are part of the vintage accessory collection.

I have intentionally described the additional optical components conservatively rather than making assumptions about their original intended configuration.
A NOTE FOR COLLECTORS
The microscope, fitted wooden case and assortment of optical/laboratory accessories make this a particularly interesting vintage Monolux set. Finding these older Japanese microscopes with such a large amount of associated material still together is considerably more appealing than a microscope alone.
A great display piece as well as a functional vintage microscope.
