Vintage Marathon Service Station advertising postcard from Urbana, Ohio, promoting Verified Marathon Chek-Chart Lubrication.

The front features colorful period artwork with the slogan “Time Flies!” along with an illustrated automobile being serviced on a lift. The lower advertising panel reads “Marathon Service Station, South Main and Market Streets, Urbana, Ohio, Phone 57.”

Marked “L-1 © The Ohio Oil Company” along the lower edge. The reverse is unused and unmailed with no writing or stamp.

Shows light age-related toning and minor edge/corner wear, but overall displays very nicely. Great piece of vintage Marathon, Ohio Oil Company, service station, lubrication, and automotive advertising ephemera.
