MOT until February 2027.
This is my mum's car. She's had it since 2008 — 18 years. We bought her a new car for her 70th, which is the only reason it's going. My dad has maintained it the whole time and it shows: it starts first time every time and drives smoothly. Videos are on the advert — please watch them.
Being upfront: it's a Category N. In 2018 someone pulled out in front of her and damaged the front light fixture and front corner. Cosmetic, non-structural damage — the insurer just decided it wasn't worth repairing on a 12-year-old car. We repaired it ourselves and kept it. Receipts available on request. It passed its MOT the following month and has passed every MOT since — eight in a row, no issues.
The rest of the history check is completely clear: not stolen, no finance owing, never a taxi or fleet car, never re-plated, mileage record consistent across every MOT since 2009.
What you're getting:
Honest about condition: it's 20 years old with 128k on it. Stone chips, scuffs and interior wear — the usual for the age. Last MOT advisories were surface corrosion on the rear springs and subframe and a perishing rear tyre, so budget for rear tyres soon. Nothing structural, nothing urgent.
Mechanically it's genuinely good. That's the point of it.
Viewings and test drives welcome — come and inspect it properly. Cash or bank transfer on collection. May consider swapping for a van.
