I have seen others, but this one, is a thing of beauty. I like everything about it, especially the detail in the hook. The stamped date appears to be 1866. It was used to weigh up to 30 pounds.

I will wrap this beautiful piece to prevent scratches to the brass and it will be shipped protected in a stiff corrugated cardboard box with tracking and insurance to insure a safe delivery.
