Vintage Oil Lamp & Chimney 57.5cm Duplex Cast Iron uv Glow Shade

Nice glow under a uv light on the shade as you can see. You may just have the perfect shade for it!

The base is cast iron and has a number on the inside that is hard to read. The font screws into the base and has an opening of 22mm. The top opening on the glass font is 39mm. The burner is marked on the underside with M and the wick winder would identify it as Hirschhorn Berlin. The burner is missing the center piece between the two wicks and small damage by the snuffer. The wick winder and snuffer both work.

The chimney is marked fire proof and an anchor logo

Base is 12.75cm tall and 14.5cm wide. The font is 15cm total height 15.5cm at it's widest point. Chimney is 26cm tall, 6.2cm internal diameter at the bottom and the bulge is oval.

I have not tried to restore it or light it but I see no reason why you couldn't with a bit of work but sold as spares or repair.

It weighs in total 1996g.

Good preloved condition.

A magnificent oil lamp for your collection.
