These are chucking pieces left over from turning some bar. These started off as 83mm diameter but have been held in tight chuck jaws, reducing this diameter somewhat. They have jaw marks but have a nominal useable diameter is about 80mm-plus. One end is cut by saw whilst the other end has machine marks. The 50mm length is taken from the minimum useable length, not including the few mm extra that have machining marks.
