Vtg 1980s Indian Miniature Silk Paintings Pair Gold Faux Bamboo Framed Art Set

Beautiful, matching pair of vintage 1980s Indian miniature paintings. These highly detailed, traditional pieces are hand-painted on genuine silk fabric and feature ceremonially decorated (caparisoned) animals—one depicting a royal elephant and the other a regal horse.

*The elephant is slightly askew.  Still looks nice and might just be because of the way the silk had to be placed at time of framing...maybe the elephant wasnt exactly straight to start with.  I didnt want to tear up.the back for such a minimal issue.

The artwork is professionally housed in stunning, vintage metallic gold faux-bamboo frames. This classic styling perfectly embodies the popular 1980s "Hollywood Regency" and "Chinoiserie" interior design aesthetics.

Both pieces were custom-framed by "Calhoun Frameworks" in Calhoun, Georgia, and one still retains its original gold foil business label on the back.
