Casio Casiotone CT-102 Vintage 80s Keyboard w/ Built-In Speaker & Effects
Released in 1984, the Casio CT-102 was part of the first wave of affordable home keyboards known for their nostalgic, slightly grainy, lo-fi sound quality, something you really don't get with modern offerings.
It may not have the crispness and prestige of a brand-new top-end keyboard or synth, but it has its own unmistakable personality and distinctive retro sound.
This keyboard comes complete with the original box, a keyboard-mounted music stand and an aftermarket power adapter (the first one was lost, as these things often are!)
Tested and in good working order. I haven't been able to test it with batteries as I don't have any D batteries, but there is no corrosion in the compartment, so unlikely there would be a problem.
Note: The sound output through the headphone jack has a small but slightly noticeable amount of noise/hiss - however, I gather this is normal for vintage keyboards like this and not a problem with this particular one.
Condition
This keyboard is in very good condition for its age, with few noticeable marks/scratches unless you're looking for them!
The keys are very clean and none of them stick. There are microscratches on the keys but these are only really visible under a strong direct light source.
The top/back/sides have various light scratches and marks/marring but again, most of these are only noticeable from certain angles or in strong light. There are only a few noticeable scratches in day-to-day use (see photos).
There are a couple of white marks on one of the sides - they may even have come from a sticker and be removable.
The bottom has some marking/staining but zero corrosion or rust.
