Up for sale is a rare vintage Japanese porcelain figurine designed by the legendary artist Rune Naito (内藤ルネ), pioneer of Japanese "Kawaii" culture.
This piece is from his famous "Charmant Trio" series, created in the Showa 40s (1960s). It features a charming vintage sailor / pirate character crafted with smooth ceramic detail. Over 50 years old and highly collectible.
