This is a very decorative and I think, rare Mandolin. It has a highly unusual label! It looks like a normal Stridente one but on close examination, above the address there is a faint line,  Sistema  Di Meglio.  which translated means, system from Meglio.  Collectors will know from the pictures that this Mandolin has all the characteristics of a De Meglio, distinctive side holes, scratchplate with wonderful floral inlay and a string tensioner.  Internet research suggests that these makers were rivals and didnt work together.  Also, De Meglio was very upset that other makers were copying their design. Perhaps they made a financial agreement with Stridente as long as it was acknowledged on the label?  Whatever, It makes for a very interesting instrument which must be rare and of interest to collectors.
It is in lovely, displayable condition as it is, all solid with no fragility but if perfection or playing is the aim, please view the last 4 pictures carefully to see the areas that would need some restoration and the top which has a fine, stable crack line from the base to the sound hole.
I will post internationally but only through the ebay shipping system.
