This is for an 1866-1898 Simpson Hall and Miller Quadruple Plate #3101 Butter Dish.  There is no knife.  This item is over 100 years old. So of course, it isn't perfect. The glass insert to separate ice from butter has small chips on the edge.  The base on the outside has two tiny holes in the silverplate.  The flower finial on the lid is slightly bending.  Very heavy embossed leaves on the base and etched flowers on the lid and finial flower is 3-D.
