Antique & Vintage Photographs

This is a silver gelatin photograph that is unmounted and is 6 x 4 inches (150x100mm). It was taken in the 1960s and printed in the 1970s

It shows a double-decker bus driving on a road with passengers visible inside. The bus displays the registration number "ALD 983B" on its front grille. The destination blind reads "ALDENHAM SPECTACULAR" and the upper blind shows "ALDENHAM-STANMORE SHUTTLE" alongside a transport roundel and a "50" logo. A large banner on the side of the bus reads "We've been together now for 50 years". In the background, there are trees, parked cars, and a large electricity pylon.
