Thanks for looking.

I bought my Skoda Superb estate last August when I was having a bathroom fitted and needed the capacity of an estate car. In addition to the impressive load space it is a fantastic long distance cruiser and I have taken it to France twice in my ownership.

As is clear from the pictures the bodywork is not the best but it looks very presentable when clean and the colour is very attractive. Where the Skoda really shines is in the driver seat (plush alcantara and leather) where it is a lovely place to be, quiet, comfortable and extremely economical returning 45 plus mpg generally and 60 plus if driven legally on the motorway where this vehicle has clocked up the bulk of the mileage.

I have owned diesels for many years and know they need to be driven regularly up to temp to keep them in tip top condition. My drive to work is a 45m round trip and all 50-60mph A roads (Crawley to Cranleigh if you know the area) . The VW 2L unit runs really well mated with the 6 speed DSG and despite the 140bhp quoted it's no slouch if you need to press on.

Come and test drive it and you will know exactly what I mean. The car will be started from cold on your viewing.

When I bought it my intention was to use it as a utility and daily and so I have spent considerable money keeping it in excellent mechanical shape with invoices to prove, anything beyond the most basic maintenance has been done by a paid professional.

I am very particular with paperwork and managed to secure a printout from the garage prior to my ownership which details the history from 10/2019 at 136575 miles and it was enough to tip my decision to buy it. I have relevant maintenance paperwork thereafter including:

8/2025  Service incl
Oil and filter
Timing belt
Water pump
Coolant
Thermostat
Rear parking sensors fixed (£1416.14)

9/2025 Fuel injection leak off pipe (£237.24)

2/2026 Air filter (self fit £13.99)

2/2026 Oil and filter Service and MOT to 13/3/2027 (£70.00)

4/2026 DMF replacement (£1073.40)

7/2026 AC regas (£84)

7/2026 ABS sensor (£139.34)

8/2026 Caliper and rear pads (£230)

I primarily use NBA Motorsports in Dunsfold and have done so for many years. I have the documented history summarised by AI if you would like that emailed. The actual paperwork is available and genuine when you come to view. Just get in touch.

4 former keepers

1 fault light on for lights(!) which has been there since I bought the vehicle despite all the lights working absolutely fine!
The passenger electric window works but occasionally is a bit noisy, easy fix if you can be bothered to pop the door card off.
The rear wiper failed and I have replaced the motor with a new one but it has not resolved it. I have it booked in to get it fixed mid September.

Genuine reason for sale, I have fallen for an XJ 2.7 TDVI.

4 Michelin CrossClimates with plenty of tread and are outstanding for low noise level, longevity and roadholding in the wet and dry. My last 3 cars have run on these, you will not be disappointed.
