Fine Imperial Russian 84 silver-gilt and cloisonne enamel footed dish or pin tray by Gustav Klingert, Moscow, late 19th century.

The shallow circular tray is finely decorated throughout with intricate polychrome cloisonne enamel floral and scrolling foliate ornament over a textured gilt ground. The border is richly shaped with an elaborate undulating outline and projecting scrollwork, giving the piece an especially elegant and distinctive form.

Raised on three stylized claw-and-ball feet.

Hallmarked on the interior, among the enamel decoration, with the Moscow 84 silver standard and maker’s mark GK for Gustav Klingert.
