Pair of Ornate Skull-Face Skeleton Keys – Approximately 2" Each

Unique matching pair of small, lightweight decorative skeleton-style keys featuring ornate skull/mask-like faces with scrolling and floral details.

These two keys have a very distinctive gothic/ornamental appearance. The face portion has two large openings resembling eye sockets, with decorative scrollwork across the lower portion, giving them a skull or mask-like appearance.

Both keys are approximately 2 inches long and are very lightweight. They remind me of the small lightweight metal keys sometimes included with toy handcuffs, although these are larger and much more ornate.

I have not been able to identify a manufacturer, date, or specific lock that these keys belong to. They are being offered based on their unusual design and appearance rather than as authenticated antique or functional lock keys.

CONDITION

Good vintage/used condition with surface wear, patina, discoloration, and minor marks consistent with age and handling. The decorative details remain attractive. One key has a metal ring attached.

Please note that these are extremely lightweight. The exact metal composition is unknown and I am not representing them as solid brass, aluminum, or any other specific material.

Keys have NOT been tested in a lock and are being sold primarily as decorative/collector pieces.
