The Cruiser is one of Daiki Suzuki’s purest “American workwear re-engineered” pieces. Its DNA comes from early 20th-century logging and hunting jackets—especially the classic Mackinaw/Filson Cruiser—but EG strips away some of the heaviness and rebuilds it with a more technical, fashion-conscious pattern. Nepenthes explicitly notes the Cruiser’s roots in Pacific Northwest logger jackets and highlights how EG retains the utility pocketing while reworking the silhouette and closure system.
