Antique Victorian Scottish mourning watch fob pendant crafted from polished black cannel coal/cannelite with a natural pyrite crystal center. This striking piece was originally worn as a watch fob and later adapted for pendant use with a wire suspension loop.

The black material has a rich polished finish and remains cool to the touch, consistent with antique hardstone or cannel coal mourning jewelry. The sparkling pyrite center provides an attractive contrast and is a feature not commonly seen on modern pieces.

This is an estate-found item and is being sold as found. I am not a jewelry expert, so please review all photographs carefully and judge age, materials, and authenticity for yourself. The wire attachment is unmarked and has not been tested for gold content.
