SIGNED Val Kilmer "My Edens After Burns" Poetry Book. RARE Limited Edition of 2000. Released in 1987. It is also signed by Joanne. At the time of the book release he was married to actress Joanne Whalley so I am assuming that this is her signature. Inscribed to R. Jay. This is a pre-first printing before he put a photo on the cover. Photo of him is in the back of the book. I currently only see two of these books listed on the internet. Published by Blue Feather Press in Santa Fe, NM. It will be shipped out in a book box with insurance.

The original pressing was several thousand copies. Kilmer reportedly gave it as a Christmas gift to friends and family, with what remained available for sale. According to Bookride.com, Kilmer quickly decided to buy all of the unsold copies and stored them in his garage; they remained there, but many were gradually dispersed — at one point, he handed out signed copies at a Colorado Shakespeare Festival. This is probably where the previous owner got the book.
