While usually remembered as a Ferrari driver, Nikki Lauda spent 1978 driving the wonderful flat-12 Alfa Romeo-powered Brabham BT46. At the Italian GP, his victory was overshadowed by the tragic passing of Ronnie Peterson, but it should still be remembered as a great one, despite the tragedy.
