Stunning, authentic vintage Bellville Sassoon (David Sassoon London) couture wedding gown from the late 1980s/early 1990s.

Known as a premier British fashion house and a favourite designer of Princess Diana, this exquisite dress exemplifies high-society romantic glamour.

This listing includes the matching long net tulle veil.

Premium skirt architecture: Crafted with masterful couture layering. The top visual layer features a silk organza overlay that offers a soft, ethereal sheen.  Underneath, a built in triple layer tulle petticoat provides dramatic structured ballgown volume without the need for a separate hoop.  A close-fitted rayon slip sits comfortably against the skin as the base lining.

Design and Silhouette: A classic ivory ballgown silhoutte featuring a structured bodice, long sleeves with beaded cuffs, and a beautifully draped, ruched silk organza cummerbund waistband that flows seamlessly into the voluminous skirt.

The train:  Features and incredibly dramatic, sweeping train measuring 92 inches (approximately 234 cms) from the shoulder line to the end of the hem.  There is a ribbon loop for the bridesmaid to hold.

The veil:  a simple matching dramatic long net tulle veil that complements the length and grand scale of the gown's train.

Bodice details:  The highlight of the gown is an intricately embelllished bodice featuring dense, scrolling floral embroidery mixed with premium silver and white bugle beads, pearls, iridescent sequins and  a long row of faux pearl loop buttons trailing down the spine.

Condition:  The gown is in generally exellent condition but there is an area under one armpit where the weight of the beads has caused the silk to fray.  I have added the photograph to the listing.  This would be easy for someone to reinforce and repair.  I have adjusted the asking price accordingly.
