Vintage PENTAX film camera set consisting of:

* PENTAX MG

Both cameras are untested and are being sold as-is for parts, repair, restoration, or collector use.

The shutters were tested and both shutters fired. However, other functions have not been tested, including the light meter, automatic exposure, film advance, rewind, battery compartment, and other mechanical/electrical functions.

Please do not assume that any function other than the shutter firing is working.

About the Cameras

PENTAX ME

A compact 35mm SLR from the famous PENTAX M-series, introduced in 1976. It features aperture-priority automatic exposure and is known for its small, lightweight body and bright viewfinder.

PENTAX MG

A later compact M-series 35mm SLR introduced in 1982. It follows the basic concept of the ME and was designed as an affordable, easy-to-use model.

Both models were sold internationally under the names PENTAX ME and PENTAX MG. Early examples may have “ASAHI PENTAX” markings, while later examples may have “PENTAX” markings.
