The product is a pair of vintage bookends featuring cast metal of Russell Wood Curtis's depiction of "The Mother Church." Standing at 7" in height and 6 1/4" in width, 2 1/2”D these bookends are a unique and collectible item of the Famous Extension of “the Mother Church” building in Boston, Mass. Fenway area. Notable for its large Byzantine -Renaissance style Dome. The intricate design and historical significance of the artwork may make these bookends a valuable addition to any collection focused on religious imagery or memorabilia. IN like new condition with no chips, dents, cracks or crazing to the metal. Bases have green felt lining in like new condition. It looks as though one of the ball tops is missing on one of the bookend. I am not totally sure if it was supposed to be there. I have not seen this particular building in “the real” Just a lovely set of bookend regardless.
