This item is an authentic vintage 1976 Sanrio Hello Kitty
"Desk Mate" train-shaped mechanical pencil sharpener. It features a
heavy-duty plastic cab colored in cream and red, decorative stationary side
wheels, a top smokestack accent, and a pull-out rear cab compartment to dump
shavings. The side graphic displays an early portrait of Hello Kitty sitting
inside a circular train window above her signature logo.
