An attractive collection of pietra dura elephants, made from white alabaster and inlaid with malachite, lapis lazuli, carnelian and mother of pearl. I think the pot originally had a lid, but it would make a lovely candle holder as it is. All the pieces are in good used condition with a few edge nibbles, the large elephant has a shallow chip to one tusk, see photo. There is no obvious loss and they display very nicely.

The large elephant measures 14cm x 6cm x 11cm tall.

The baby measures 9.5cm x 4.5cm x 8cm tall.

The pot is 12.5cm in diameter overall, the container part is 6cm in diameter internally, and it is 5cm high.
