This striking piece is a Vintage Winstanley Pottery Cat 
Instantly Recognisable by its Cathedral Amber Glass eyes , designed to look like they are watching you from any angle 
Each piece is moulded in eathenware and hand painted - each cat has a unique pattern and coat variation 
He lays on his side, with his head raised as if sniffing the air - or maybe wondering `where did that fly go ?`

excellent condition 
no chips or cracks 
if im hypercritical there is a slight roughness to the tips of the ears but i think its more of the fine edge its been created with - see close up pics
