A vintage mid-century Italian Empoli glass genie bottle decanter, produced during the 1960s or 1970s. Moulded in a rich emerald green glass, it features a raised diamond point/hobnail texture across its teardrop-shaped body and comes complete with its original matching flame/pineapple stopper and plastic collar insert.

Likely made in Tuscany, Italy—in the glassmaking hub of Empoli—this piece features classic local "Empoli Verde" green glass. A striking piece of MCM art glass that stands 46cm tall, it is ideal for a window display, retro sideboard, or glass collection. Marked "MADE IN ITALY" on the underside of the base.

Dimensions & Details

Condition In great vintage condition with no chips or cracks to the glass. The original stopper is present and still retains its plastic collar. Standard light wear on the base and faint internal air bubbles consistent with vintage glass production.
