This item is a brand new copy of Coober Skeber #2: the Marvel Benefit Issue.  This book was released in 1997 by Hightower Books, after Marvel Comics filed for bankruptcy, as an unauthorized parody of many Marvel characters.  The book was originally given away for free at San Diego Comic Con in 1997 despite Hightower Books not having a booth.  The book features a variety of popular Marvel characters such as Captain America, Spider-Man, and the Hulk, all in mini stories, some of which are outright satire. The artists in the book are indie creators, and the book was used to showcase their work using Marvel characters as a vessel. This item is brand new and in very good to near mint condition.  There are no visible flaws on the book aside from minor rubbing along the spine from storage.  Please see the pictures for more details.
