RARE VINTAGE JAPANESE DESCENTE SPORTS JERSEY – 新体連大阪 / SHINTAIREN OSAKA – #13

Offered is an authentic vintage Japanese sports jersey featuring 新体連大阪 (Shintairen Osaka) prominently across the front and #13 on the back.

The jersey carries the vintage DESCENTE “THE BEST – for typical sportsmen – original by DESCENTE” label with model D-230 and size M.

Based on the vintage Descente labeling, construction, graphics and research into the branding, this appears to date from approximately the early-to-mid 1970s. The New Japan Physical Education Federation (新日本体育連盟 / Shintairen) was established in Japan in 1965, and its Osaka organization participated in organized competitive sports during this era.
