Here we have a single piece of scarce McDonald's ephemera from the personal archive of a former Leo Burnett (Chicago) Advertising Agency executive. Extra-large paper take-out bag with cut-out handle. Copyright 1989. Made in USA. Discoloration shown in photos is from tanning, not from use. Technically, this piece is new-old-stock in that it was never sold or used for its intended purpose. It never went beyond the offices of Leo Burnett until it landed in the executive's personal archive when Leo Burnett was sold in 2002. It is clean and fresh, with nothing sticky or gross, and no funky odors. However, it hasn't been stored perfectly over the years, so it suffers from numerous creases and wrinkles, as well as having a torn bottom corner.

We have not researched any of the pieces from this estate archive, which should make it lots of fun for the collector -- an insider's archive, with everything in great shape -- who knows what you'll find! We have no idea, other than that you'll get the exact piece photographed. No stock photos used. We'll be listing these pieces sporadically over the rest of year--we have tons of material, so please keep an eye out.

We have lots more McDonald's and other archival ephemera in our store, to which we add new inventory daily, and we're always happy to combine shipping at actual cost. When purchasing multiple items, please choose "ADD TO CART" instead of "buy now" and check-out from the cart when you are completely done shopping with us. If the eBay checkout fails to properly combine your orders or, as it is very apt to do, overcharges you for combined shipping, we will issue a refund for the difference between what you paid for shipping, and the actual cost of the shipping, on the day that we ship your package. (We don't find out the actual cost of combined shipping until we purchase the shipping label.)

Approximate Measurements: laid flat, it's 11" x 11"; when standing, it has a depth of 6"

Rest assured that we will do all we can to ensure that your piece of ephemera arrives exactly as presented in our photos. We invest time and appropriate materials into shipping all of our ephemera, and we provide tracking on all shipments. All pieces are sent in rigid mailers or envelopes that are sandwiched between cardboard before being sent as first-class parcels in non-bendable mailers, which ship at rates much higher than first-class letters. We never toss our ephemera into thin stationery envelopes with forever stamps stuck to them expecting the USPS to deliver them to you with great care. And we ship everything fully insured.

We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report. Corndogcache is a 100% non-smoking environment, and we'll let you know if any of our vintage items smell like it (or anything else) from activities they may have been involved in before they came to us.

The Fine Print:
  • We expect payment within 1 day of purchase. If you're waiting for other auctions to end so that you can combine shipping, shoot us a message to let us know.
  • If you're unable to pay within terms, please reach out with your Plan B. Things happen. Especially these days. So just shoot us a message.
  • We don't accept buyer-remorse returns but we will grant you the use of our description and photos so that you can re-ebay the item yourself.
  • Although we don't accept buyer-remorse returns, reach out if you're unhappy with your purchase! If we messed up -- everybody does -- give us a chance to fix it. We promise it was unintentional, and we'll do what we can to make it right.
