Up for sale is......

a mixed lot of eight (8) Postcards (circa 1911 to 1950).

All cards mention the Rogue River. Scenes depicted are from

Medford  to  Gold Beach/Wedderburn.

 

 ·       Table Mountain, Gold Ray Dam, Power Plant and Rogue River. Used postcard published by the Portland Post Card Co. "No. 191". Year of postmark is not legible, but postage stamp is 1 Cent Balboa (issued in 1913). With it’s shiny surface layer, this type of card is sometimes referred to as a “Gel-card”

·       Medford, Rogue River Valley Paradise – Unused, Artist Drawn, circa 1912. Featuring pear and other fruits.

  CONDITION

Six (6) of these eight (8) Postcards are in Very good or Excellent condition.

Two cards have conditions that note further description:

Table Mountain, Gold Ray Dam, Power Plant and Rogue River ("No. 191") - This type of card is sometimes referred to as a “Gel-card”.  It has edge and corner wear, and a ‘heavy’ postmark which produced some cracking of the gelatin coated surface on the front side.

 Hell Gate, Rogue River (postmarked 1911) has corner wear. It is in ‘good’ overall condition.
