This is a good Kashgai carpet dating from around 1930. The handwoven woollen rug is beautifully soft and has a pleasing design, the warm strawberry red field with an allover floral motif pattern and deep pictorial borders with birds.

This is in great overall condition with a deep even pile. It is clean and  ready to use and measures 263 cms x 166 cms.
