This is an attractive carpet with Kazak design dating from around 1930. The carpet has two colourful double hooked lozenges set within deep borders with further hoked devices flanked by guard stripes and barber poles.

A very characterful carpet and in excellent condition this is unusual in size, measuring almost square, 175 cms x 186 cms.
