Vintage Chinese porcelain bowl produced in Jingdezhen, widely known as the “Porcelain Capital” of China, featuring classic Famille Rose–style decoration with hand-painted butterflies, florals, and botanical motifs in vibrant overglaze enamels. The design reflects traditional decorative techniques commonly seen in mid-century Chinese export porcelain, offering a balanced composition with detailed brushwork and soft yet colorful tones that display beautifully.
The base of the bowl features a stamped red iron mark containing both the traditional Chinese characters “中国景德镇” (Zhōngguó Jǐngdézhèn) and “MADE IN CHINA” in English. This bilingual marking style explicitly dates the piece to the mid-to-late 20th century (circa 1960s–1980s), produced by the state-regulated porcelain factories of Jingdezhen for the international export market.
The bowl is in excellent vintage condition with clean surfaces and well-preserved enamel decoration. No cracks or structural damage observed; light wear may be present consistent with age. To preserve the overglaze enamel, hand washing is recommended; not suitable for dishwasher or microwave use.
