Up for Auction is a INCREDIBLE VICTORIAN GERMAN BLACK FOREST CARVED WOOD LION HEAD WALL SCULPTURE. Part of an amazing collection of Estate Treasures plus Silver, Glass and Porcelain listed this week, be sure to check all our other auctions and save greatly with combined shipping.

Fresh from one of the finest untouched estate collections we have seen in years comes this absolutely incredible 19th Century, Victorian period, German Black Forest wood carving of a Lion head, designed to hang on a wall. The Figure is of amazing quality with superb details and great charm. I particularly love the Teeth which appear to be hand carved from Bovine (Cow) Bone. Not sure of what kind of wood this is carved from but it is very dense and would be like an iron wood, rosewood or possibly walnut. This is one of three wall sculptures from the estate, don't miss out checking the other two, they are equally fabulous !

Condition : The Carving is in fine Estate Fresh condition showing no major chips or losses. Only the minor shrinkage cracking and signs of wear consistent with wooden examples as seen.

Size : The Carving measures approx. 11-1/2 inches tall by 9-1/2 inches deep. Weighing a heavy 12 pounds.

Special Note Regarding Tariffs: We will continue to be shipping all items to the USA with all tariffs and fees prepaid. They are included in our already low shipping costs. Our customers have loved this in the past and we will continue this for all the sales this week.
