This will be our final sales of the summer, we are planning on taking a break and doing some traveling to see family. Up for Auction is a TOP QUALTY MAPPIN & WEBB STERLING SILVER LION HEAD HANDLED FLOWER FROG BOWL VASE. Part of a fine collection of Sterling Silver and Silver Plate from all over the world, listed this week. Be sure to check our other auctions and save greatly with combined shipping.

We have sold a number of these Flower Frog Bowls or Vases in Silver Plate over the years and they have always been very desirable but this is the first time we have had the pleasure to sell one in Sterling Silver. The Bowl is top notch quality being fully Hallmarked for the iconic English Silversmiths Mappin & Webb, Birmingham, Sterling Silver and the date letter for 1988. This must have cost an absolute fortune when it was bought new as Mappin & Webb is a luxury brand but it will sell now to the highest bidder without reserve !

Condition : The Bowl is in condition with no bends, cracks or repairs. There is a monogram and date as seen but these could possibly be buffed out, the Bowl is quite thick Silver.

Size & Weight : Measures approx. 6-1/2 inches across by 4-1/2 inches tall at the rim, with a Sterling Silver weight of 364 grams, not including the wire frog which we believe is Plated.

Special Note Regarding Tariffs: We will continue to be shipping all items to the USA with all tariffs and fees prepaid. They are included in our already low shipping costs. Our customers have loved this in the past and we will continue this for all the sales this week.
