The maps include extensive marginal indexes locating countries, colonies, cities, provinces, and other geographical features. The atlas was issued during the Spanish-American War and is particularly notable for its maps of Cuba, the Philippines, Hawaii, and the Pacific.
Condition: Original printed paper wrappers remain present. The atlas shows age-related wear, including edge and corner wear, small tears, creasing, spine and fold weakness, and some separation or tearing at the center folds. There are occasional spots, marks, and minor soiling. The maps retain attractive, strong color. Please examine all photographs carefully for the exact condition.
