Description:

Up for sale is an enchanting vintage matching porcelain sugar and creamer set highlighting traditional mid-century Japanese export artistry. This cohesive 2-piece set features a double-handled covered sugar bowl (complete with its matching lid) and a corresponding single-handled creamer pouring pitcher. Both pieces showcase a vibrant multi-color botanical design filled with pink, violet, and orange floral petals meticulously outlined in raised white moriage slip dots. Swirling green ivy vines cascade over the soft ombre backgrounds, beautifully framed by geometric gold-trimmed geometric borders.

The underside of the creamer base retains a clean, stamped blue "MADE IN JAPAN" manufacturing hallmark. This complete set makes an exquisite addition to an afternoon tea table, a vintage lusterware display, or a curio cabinet collection.

Condition:

Excellent vintage pre-owned condition! Both pieces are completely free of chips, cracks, structural fractures, or surface crazing. The porcelain remains crisp white and highly glossy, and the intricate raised moriage dots are phenomenally intact. As mentioned, the only notable sign of vintage age is minor, minimal gold paint rubbing/wear along the very bottom base trim line from normal shelf handling over the decades.
