Iwatsu Glassworks 5 lobed bowl in the Hineri range.  Glass of this type was manufactured by the Iwatsu Glassworks in the 1970s.

This is a classic example of this line in a sophisticated smokey gray color which is made in the mid century modern style.  The light box gives the bowl a slightly olive cast, but I have included a picture (last one) of the bowl in more natural light so you can see what it looks like in a room.

The bowl is about 9" in diameter at the top, stands about 6 1/4" tall and weighs almost 3 pounds.

The bowl is in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks.  There appears to be some wear at the upper rim, and there are few tiny flea bites on the bottom rim.  There are shallow scratches on the base, a few marks and a few shallow scratches on the sides of the bowl and some small bubbles and straw marks are present.  There is at least one small ash inclusion that I found too.

Please view the photos and message me with any questions.  Thank you for looking.
