This planter has a base periwinkle in color with gold highlights, which I do not believe is original to the white part above it. 

Together they measure 5 3/4" tall 

The white part rim measures 11 3/4" wide and 5" and is about 2 1/2" depth. 

The periwinkle base with the gold highlights measures 3 1/2" square. 

The base is glued to the bottom and is pretty strong, not moving about at all when handled. 

It is signed on the bottom of the white part "AMERICAN USA"

It is NOT new
