CRITICAL INSTALLATION WARNINGS (MUST READ)
1. HVAC CALIBRATION REQUIRED: You MUST perform an HVAC module relearn/calibration procedure immediately after installing this actuator. Plugging it in and turning on the AC without recalibration will cause the motor to over-travel, instantly stripping the new internal gears and voiding the warranty!
2. DO NOT MANUALLY TURN THE GEAR: Do not attempt to rotate the actuator gear by hand or apply direct battery power to test it before installation. This will damage the internal electronic limits.
3. BATTERY DISCONNECT: Always disconnect the negative battery terminal before removing the old actuator to prevent electrical surges to the climate control module.
