It is a new design of SPEEDTIMER born in pursuit of the essence of measurement function as a chronograph with the most precise measurement accuracy. Solar
chronograph caliber capable of measuring down to 1/100th of a second: 8A50 is newly installed.
By separating the time mode (time display) and the stopwatch mode, the functionality as a measuring device is maximized.
The dial design pursues "visibility" and "legibility" by making the stopwatch display completely independent for each unit of measurement.
Each chronograph hand, which measures up to 1/100th of a second, uses a color that contrasts with the base color of the subdial to ensure high legibility.
Hammer-shaped buttons are used for ease of operation. The
design embodies Seiko's design philosophy of pursuing "accurate time".
