Battle for "Nameless" Hill


While fighting for the Soviet Motherland and the expulsion of the German invaders, he was wounded twice. During the battle for "Nameless" Hill in the Slanets area on December 24, 1944, he led his company in being the first to storm the height, destroying a machine-gun crew and 20 enemy soldiers in the process. The enemy attempted to retake the hill, but the company successfully repelled the counterattack.
